We select locations by a variety of factors: analyzing the locations our players are currently in (when signing up, the "zip code" field must be filled out; we use this to determine locations.
While we'd love to fill the exact time/location our players want, that's not always possible. Youth leagues often take precedence over adult leagues, so at certain times in the season ice is harder to get than others.
